A Climbing Rose-covered Gateway Will Jazz Up Your Garden Retreat

The popular Climbing Peace Rose, like the original peace, has lemon yellow petals tipped with pink edges. As the rose opens the color gradually changes to a rosey pink with creamy yellow center. You will enjoy an abundance of beauty, blooms and fragrance from June until frost. This beautiful rose does well in a sunny well-drained area and is hardy in zones 4 to 10. It has a spread of 2 to 3 feet and will grow 8 to 10 feet in height.

For a spectacular display of flowers consider the Climbing Golden Showers. It blooms from spring until frost with bright waves of color. These ruffled gems have large bright yellow flowers with 20 to 35 petals resembling a starburst. There are many ways to take advantage of the stunning beauty of this rose to cover a trellis or arbor, a pillar or post, to decorate a fence or to create a beautiful entryway. This fragrant ever blooming rose has dark green foliage covered with 4 to 5 inch yellow flowers. The climbing canes reach 10 to 12 feet with a spread of 2 to 4 feet and it grows well in zones 4 to 9.

The Climbing Show Garden Rose is one of the hardiest climbing roses with showers of blooms from spring until frost. It has a spread of 4 to 6 feet and grows to a height of 6 to 7 feet and is hardy in zones 3 to 10. It has large showy deep pink double flowers 4 to 5 inches wide. Grow this rose on a trellis, arbor, pillar or fence and it will give you color from late May until frost.

Climbers come in a variety of colors, and if your favorite is red then choose the Blaze Improved. It grows 12 to 14 feet and spreads to 4 feet with large red flowers. It's bright color can tolerate the hottest sun and works well as a pillar rose and on arches, fences and porches. The improved free-blooming Climbing Blaze Rose will add excitement to your garden

The Climbing Peace Rose and others described will add a different dimension of beauty to your rose garden. They offer many choices of color, shape and fragrance to add beauty to your yard, porch or fence and to provide shade for your garden.
